About Montana ASA/USA Softball...

The Montana Amateur Softball Association is an affiliate of ASA/USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States.  We are a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization (501.c.3). Staffed by volunteers and dedicated to the advancement of men's, women's and youth softball, in Montana, at all levels of play. 

Our Mission Statement...

The mission of Montana ASA/USA Softball is:

  • To promote amateur softball within the boundaries of the state of Montana.

  • To promote all phases of softball including men's, women's and youth.

  • To conduct well-organized and planned invitational, district, state, regional and national tournaments in all divisions.

  • To represent Montana by advancing teams to the state, regional and national level.

  • To define districts in a manner that will benefit member teams as regards to the amount of travel required; and to promote the formation of teams into suitable leagues under uniform rules and regulations.

  • To promote clean, wholesome sportsmanship; to foster this game as a non-professional sport, engaged without profit to it's members.

  • To promote amateur softball for all persons regardless of race, color, creed, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin or ancestry.

  • To support the ASA's programs that promote the sport of softball and educate players, coaches, officials, volunteers and the public about the game.

  • To act at all times with the utmost civility and sportsmanlike conduct, promoting wholesome, safe competition.

  • To provide programs that encompass fairness to the participants and promote fair play and sportsmanship.
